Thin air
I have been devoting more time to a new series. These pictures explore the evanescence of man and his interactions in the urban seascape. They were taken at the Oceanside pier, a place I frequent. Many of these shots have similar angles because I shoot from the boardwalk. I like that formalism, particularly because these pictures have a two-dimensional quality. I consider them celebrations of life, instances of moments when time was suspended.
